I sort of started with The Vibrational Universe but only because I bought it on Monday and am nearly finished with the 500+ pages. Ha!
We could choose a book, all of us take a month to read it and then start raving, decoding, picking it apart, recommending it, etc., as we finish it.
I am new to this, so are there any out there (on here) who have been involved in book clubs in the past or present? Now... wait for the LOA to bring them to us...
We now have five children (3 are married) and 4 1/2 grandchildren. the 5th one is due the end of October!
Connie and I are avid readers. I love the big, heavy, indepth, tomes, and she loves the "Chic" books, the mystery novels, and action love stories. We actually read all genres.
I am currently in the 12th volume of Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" story. Nearly all volumes are 800 to 1,000 pages of compressed font. But this one falls short at only 784 pages.
I blame my reading on my mother. She said I started at 4 and at 8, I read "The Robe". At 10, she enrolled me in the SCI FI Book Club.
