My idea is to move Venus, Mars, Europa, and Titan into the same orbit as earth. This would add enormous land mass and resources for the growth of the human race.

I would use millions of nano-ships sent out to the asteroid belt. These nano-ships would build thrusters, navigation equipment, and sensors (to determine the composition of the asteroid). Based upon the compositions, the nano devices would send that asteroid on an impact course into the planet body that needed that material. The impacts would gradually move the planets into the same orbit as earth.

We would also want to add similar moons as we have to create a similar tidal force and magnetic fields. Therefore, we would also be harvesting several moons of Jupiter and Saturn.

Because comets are rich in ice, I recommend adding these to our effort. Using the water for the new terraformed palnets.

This may take 200 to 1,000 years to accomplish.

Hi Steve,

At the beginnig your thought was exciting for me. But, then I realized that -strongly that- this new configaration of planets will cause to imbalance in our solar system gravity (levels) old matrix set. disaster in planets orbit and rotations will effect all our solar system as chain effect. To achieve your idea we will need more advanced technology and science than what we have now. And any small mistake may due to a disaster in our solar system.
May be instead we can send the people their and made some solar stations around our sun to beam more sun lights directly to Mars, Europa and Titan. Transfering ice/water from astroid must be very very carefully.
Regarding to tidal force, only Venus has not any moon, but when you live their inside Venus surface in a colony you will not need a tidal force. Europa and Titan are moons of Satrun so they have tidal waves as I suppose.
Finally, we must open a new living area with more respected and balance with our solar system (as whole and as each planet, moon and our sun).
