Why did you get up this morning?
I'd like to be able to hear everyone's answer to that question - really! The reason it is so important is because one of the essential ingredients to a long and happy life is having a purpose to be alive.
This may seem obvious or irrelevant. It is easy to just be so caught up in surviving the day and all its demands that something like a purpose can feel like a luxury. Yet study after study shows when people have a purpose they live better, healthier and happie…

I already know that….
One of my favorite chapters in a book by John Randolph Price is entitled "I already know that." He got that quote from a woman who was asking his advice and after he gave it to her she told him she already knew that. His point of the chapter was if the woman had really known "it" she wouldn't be asking his advice in the first place.
I know I am as guilty of this idea as the next person. In fact, if it wasn't human nature to keep looking for an answer that was easier, soft…

The Giving of Joy
The last few days I've been reviewing various non-profits to decide which ones aligned with my intentions for giving. At the same time someone recommended the movie "Pray the Devil Back to Hell" to me. It is the story of the women of Liberia who after 12 years of civil war said "enough."
These women came together as a nation and prayed peace and love and were instrumental in stopping their countries war. Their mission was to stop the suffering of their children.
A few days l…

Waiting for the Second Ruby Shoe to Drop
One of the hardest things for me to learn to let go of is that feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know that feeling you get when things are going well so life should be right on schedule to blow it all apart? Your rational mind knows that life doesn't work that way, but emotionally you are almost holding your breath in expectation of it?
Now before you launch into the whole Law of Attraction thing, yes I get that, but I want to add some…

If you know about the Law of Attraction or not, the question everyone asks themselves in this life is, what do I want? Time may or may not alter your answers. Some will stay with you a lifetime, others will go by the wayside as your priorities in your life change.
The Law of Attraction has done much more than offer the idea we can have what we want, it's taken off all the limits we have believed in. The possibilities are now endless and instead of creating comfort, this idea has for many just c…

What is your Fear Factor?
If I was to ask what percentage of your life is spent in fear, what would you answer? More importantly, why would you care?
To know the answer is to know the percentage of resistance you carry in your life. To want to know the answer is a key factor in what kind of life you will create.
What kind of life do you want to create? What are you willing to do to create it? The even bigger question is what are you willing to let go of to let it be created?
Without fear we…

The Two Paths in Life
There are two paths we can take when we choose to deliberately use the Universal Laws. The first one is where most of us start. It is the path of identifying what we want and then calling on the Law to bring it to us.
For most this approach works some of the time. We get enough glimpses of good stuff that we want it to be the truth. We hope it is real. We try harder to make it work more often.
The first path is meant to bring us to an awareness of what the law is and how…

The idea of resistance as the reason we're not getting what we desire as easily as we'd like has begun to take a firmer root in the minds of many. Okay, now we know why, but what do we do about it? Knowing we are resistant is a start, but simply acknowledging this doesn't seem to be enough to let it go.
Standing with infinite patience on the opposite side of this problem is the receiving of our desire. You can't resist and receive at the same time, its vibrationally and physically impossible.…
