The Two Paths in Life
There are two paths we can take when we choose to deliberately use the Universal Laws. The first one is where most of us start. It is the path of identifying what we want and then calling on the Law to bring it to us.
For most this approach works some of the time. We get enough glimpses of good stuff that we want it to be the truth. We hope it is real. We try harder to make it work more often.
The first path is meant to bring us to an awareness of what the law is and how it works. However, there is more to it than this. Those who never move beyond the first path may experience their Oprah moment. However, in a lifetime their losses will equal their gains.
The second path branches off of the first one. It agrees that we have Universal Laws and that we must learn to understand them. But its second lesson is why we are being told and more importantly, how we can allow them to work through us.
The second path asks us to let go of most of what we think we wanted and instead find the place that allows us to listen for what it is we really want. The desire for money is replaced by the understanding that money is not the true source of our abundance.
The request for a perfect mate is replaced by the understanding that those we are meant to meet will show up in the perfect place and time as we are meant to meet them.
The pursuit of healing is replaced by the desire to let go of what is within us to allow healing to come forth. We stop looking and asking to be healed by anything or anyone outside of ourselves and we become willing to do whatever it takes to become who we need to be so that we may remember we are already whole.
The first path allows us to still pretend we are not 100% responsible for our lives. The second path demands that we accept we are 100% responsible for our lives. The first path is seductive, the second path is difficult. The first path is of this world, the second is not.
You will never be asked to walk a specific path, but only asked to make a choice during your travels. To the left, to the right, or to just sit down and wait. All are viable options. None are required. It is always your choice because you are always free to choose your own path.
